Kenny Leseur began competing in the HJGT Academy Cup at Celebration Golf Course.
Playing in the Will Smith 14-15 Boy’s Age Group Division Leseur ended the day in second place after a First Round Even Par 72.
Leseur is level with Jack Snedaker, Leseur shot 1 Eagle, 3 Birdies, 10 Pars, 3 Bogey’s and 1 Double Bogey in his Round.
Leseur said after his round, “ Today was a good round, it was a bit of a roller coaster, having 1 eagle 3 birdies 3 bogeys and a double. Overall, I am pleased but need to clean up a couple of things. I am looking forward for tomorrow and hopefully can roll in some more putts and go low.”
2019 Pompano Couples Classic
The 2019 Pompano Couples Classic continued at two locations, a total of 50 couples took to the Port Royal and Tuckers Point Golf Courses for Round 2 of the Tournament.
In the Dark n Stormy Team Gross Division, Ray and Cindy Casey lead with a score of 141 after rounds of 72 and 69, Robert Leavens and Michele Christl are second with a score of 145, they had rounds of 71 and 74 and then John and Barbara Wellard after rounds of 69 and 77 are third with a score of 146.
In the Rum Swizzle Team Gross Division Robert and Janet Plunkett alongside David and Patricia Smith are joint leaders at 147, while Gene and Lauri Welch are third with a score of 154.
