Walker Campbell and his William & Mary Men's Golf teammates fired a combined 27-over par 307, taking a stroke off its first round score and sits at 55-over par 615 and is in 19th place after the first two rounds of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate. Utah Valley maintained the team lead and is now at 16-over par 576 for the tournament.
Senior Bryce Johnson recorded the scoring team's low-round of the day with a 75 (+5). The senior, lowered his first round total by six strokes on his second time through. Through the first 36-holes, junior David Hicks leads the W&M lineup as he is tied for 58th with a 152 (+12).
Junior Gavin DeFisser posted the best score of the second round for the Tribe playing as an individual. DeFisser improved his score by seven strokes in the second round to fire a 72 (+2), and sit at 151 (+11) for the tournament. The 151 is good for a tie of 52nd.
Campbell recorded 1 Birdie, 9 Pars, 7 Bogey’s and 1 Double Bogey in his round to finish the day T68th at 13-over par.
