Bermuda Match Play Championships 2017 got underway at the Mid Ocean Golf Course with the Men’s & Ladies defending champions, Jarryd Dillas and Tariqah Walikraam both taking part.
In the Men’s Championship, Dillas won his match 6 and 4 over Kheary Swan, Robert Vallis won his match 6 and 4 over Michael Lindo. Mark Phillips defeated Spencer Wideman 2 up and Arthur Jones won his match 4 and 3 over Michael McCrimmon.
Walikraam won her Ladies Championship Division match 5 and 4 over Gina Zangrillo, Carol Jones defeated Linda Down on the 20th hole, while Susan Vallis defeated Anne O'Neill 1 up and Katrin Burnie defeated Stephanie Lewis-Pullen 1 up.
