Bermuda Match Play Championships 2017 got underway at the Mid Ocean Golf Course with the Stroke Play Qualifying Round taking place.
The Men’s & Ladies defending champions, Jarryd Dillas and Tariqah Walikraam elected not to play in the Qualifying Round but they will automatically take the 1st seed in the Match Play event.
The Stroke Play Qualifying Round is for players to be ranked for the position draw. Spencer Wideman shot the Men’s Championship low round of the day with a 4-over par 75, while Anne O’Neill had the lowest round in the Ladies Championship shooting a round of 14-over par 85.
