The first round of the Bermuda Four Ball Championships was completed today at Port Royal under extremely challenging conditions. Wind at times was gusting up to 37 knots which made for some very exciting and challenging play.
However, despite the conditions the defending Champions Jarryd Dillas and his partner Will Haddrell will take a two stroke lead into the final day of the Men’s Championship after they shot a 1-under par 70, Ben Hodge and Richard Neame are in second after they shot 1-over par 72, Damian Palanyandi and his partner Eric West along with the team of Mark and Chris Phillips are tied for 3rd place after shooting 2-over pars.
The Ladies Championship leaders are Katrin Burnie and Linda Down who shot an 85, while Tracy Nash and Katyna Rabain along with Ann Symonds and her partner Tracy Burgess both are one stroke back tied for second.
