IslandStats.com
Wagner freshman teammate Elizabeth Parsons finished third, as the Wagner Women's Golf team closed its fall season with a win over Hampton in the Maryland Eastern Shore Collegiate Challenge.

Parsons’ senior teammate Ariana Furrie finished in second place

A 36-hole event held at the 5,665-yard, par-72 Ocean City Golf Club, Parsons held the lead at the midway point of the tournament following a one-over par 73 on Monday, which is the lowest round of her young Wagner career. Parsons shot 82 in the second round to finish at 155 (+11).

Furrie, meanwhile, followed her opening-round 76 with a 78, for a 154 (+10) total, which was one shot behind medalist Britney Smith of Hampton who shot 78-75-153 (+9).

Wagner shot a two-day, four-person score of 636, which was 30 strokes better than Hampton's 666 total.

Also figuring into the scoring for Wagner were junior captain Kyra Alexander, who shot 82-78-160 to finish fourth, while senior Lexie LeClair was sixth following rounds of 86-88-174.
