Kenny Leseur took to the Kilmarnock Golf Course for the Seond Round of the British Junior Open Championships.
Leseur was looking to improve on his 19-over par First Round performance in a bid to make the Cut.
Leseur finished T100th, missing the Cut by 6 strokes after shooting a Second Round 11-over par 84.
Leseur's round consisted of 9 Pars, 7 Bogeys and 2 Double Bogeys.
Bermuda Junior Golf Association official Chris Brough who is traveling with Leseur said, "Weather conditions were a bit warmer and less windy today. Leseur is proud of his performance today, having applied what he learned from yesterday. Still struggled to hit fairways and greens, but his short game was much better helping him to grind out a score of 84 (+11). I haven’t yet seen the final standings, but Leseur has not made the cut. The scoring on the whole was better today, but Leseur had too much to do after his round of 92 yesterday."
"He didn’t lose any balls today, which helped limit damage from wayward shots. Unfortunately, Leseur’s looser shots came on the scoring holes so he was unable to take advantage of them. The experience this week has been invaluable and the lessons learned about preparation and course management should pay dividends in future international events, starting next week at the Optimist Junior International", concluded Brough.
