Michael Sims shot a Second Round 6-under par 66 in the eGolf Tours Championship at Woodside Plantation which is the 17th event of the 2012 eGolf Tour season and is being contested this week at the Rees Jones-designed Wisteria Course at Woodside Plantation Country Club in Aiken, SC.
Sims’ round saw him move up from T9th seven strokes off the leader to T4th three shots off the leader..
Sims’ round consisted of eight Birdies, eight Pars and two Bogey’s.
Sims started out on the Back Nine, with consecutive Pars, before three Birdie’s saw him move to 3-under par after five holes. Sims then recorded a Par on the 15th, which was followed by a Bogey on the 16th and back to back Birdie’s on 17 and 18 to make the turn at 4-under par.
Sims on the Front Nine began with a Birdie, which was followed by a Par Birdie, Par Birdie moving Sims to 7-under par with four holes to play. Sims closed out his round with three consecutive Pars and then a Bogey on the par four 9th.
