Michael Sims followed up his Second Round tour-record-setting 12-under 59 during the eGolf Tours eighth annual Southern Open by shooting a Third Round 1-under par 70, which sees him T2nd three shots off the leader.
Sims recorded five Birdies in his Third Round, that also included nine Pars and four Bogeys.
Starting out on the Front Nine Sims started with a Par, Bogey and Birdie to remain Even after three holes, a Birdie on five and seven and a Bogey on nine saw Sims make the turn at -1.
On the Back Nine Sims for the third consecutive round started out with a Birdie on the par 4 tenth, this was followed by back to back Pars, and then a Bogey, Birdie, Bogey, Sims then concluded his round with three consecutive Pars.
