Matt Hill, recorded 11 Birdies en route to a career-best 63 to grab the Day One lead in the eGolf tours Willow Creek Open.
The Willow Creek Open is the ninth of 24 scheduled events on the 2012 eGolf Tour schedule, and is being contested this week at Willow Creek Country Club in High Point, NC. The event is the third of 10 scheduled 54-hole events on the tours 2012 schedule.
Michael Sims ended Day One T14th after shooting a 3-under par 69.
Sims started out on the Back Nine, he began with back to back Pars, before recording his one and only Bogey on the par four twelfth. This was followed by four consecutive Pars and then an Eagle on the par five seventeenth, Sims closed out his first nine with a Par to make the turn at 1-under par.
On the Front Nine, Sims started with three consecutive Pars, before recording a Birdie on the par five fourth. Sims then had four consecutive Pars before closing out his round with a Birdie on the par four ninth.
