112th U.S. Open Local Qualifying Tournament Round Up
Anthony Mocklow and Camiko Smith recently took part in the 112th U.S. Open Local Qualifying Tournament in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
Both missed the Cut to advance with Mocklow shooting a 5-over par 75 and Smith shooting 9-over par 79.
Mocklow’s Round saw him shoot 1 Birdie on the Par 3 tenth, 11 Pars and 6 Bogey’s.
Smith’s round included 9 Pars and 9 Bogey’s.
Bermuda Professional Golfers Association’s Jack Daniels Tour Round Up
Daniel Augustus took apart Port Royal Golf Course and the rest of the field during the Bermuda Professional Golfers Association’s Jack Daniels Tour Round with a 2-under par 69.
On a course which played long and tough, Augustus hit 16 out of 18 greens in regulation and on another day when the putts would have fallen the course record could have been seriously demolished.
Finishing in second place was Anthony Mocklow a distant 11 strokes back after shooting a 9-over par 80, with third going to Andrew Bissell 13 strokes back shooting 11-over par 82.
