Day Two Ross "Blackie" Talbot Round Up

Day Two of the Ross “Blackie” Talbot Charity Golf Classic Tee’d off at the Riddell’s Bay Golf and Country Club, playing in the Stableford format the team of Eldon Raynor, Glenn Robinson, Lee Simmons and Melvyn Talbot finished in first with a score of 100.

Finishing in second place on Day Two shooting 94 was the team of Oliver Heyliger, Gaynell Hayward, George Hayward and Jacinth Hoilett, while Anthony Mocklow, Richard Marriott, Shannon Gosse and Delores Johnson finished in third also shooting 94.

Larry Brangman won the AM Men’s Longest Drive, while Melinda Frith won the Ladies AM Longest Drive. Bryan Talbot won the AM Men’s Closest to the Pin, while Tracy Burgess won the Ladies AM Closest to the Pin title.

The Men’s AM Putting was won by Geza Wolf, while Tracy Nash won the Ladies AM Putting. Alvin Harvey and Lisa Ferrari won the Men’s and Ladies AM Sand Shot titles.

The team of Zane DeSilva, Marc Bean, Derrick Burgess and Ewart Brown shot the Stableford high round of the day in the afternoon when they shot 105, however the score of 109 from San Bezant, David Cart, Jamie Cann and Gladys Chambaz shot on Day One still remains the best score.

Finishing in second place in the PM was the team of Steve Hickmott, Phil Barnett, Sean Adams and Justin Watts who shot a round of 99, while Reed Young, Steve Pantry, Renald Bean and Sherwyn Richardson finished third also shooting a round of 99.

Dervin Wright and Cindy Hardart won the PM Men’s and Ladies Longest Drive, while Steve Hickmott and Maura Ryan finish as the Men’s and Ladies Closest to the Pin winners.

Michael Jackman and Ellan Kelly won the Men’s and Ladies PM Putting titles, while Ernest Dumphy and Ann Symonds won the Men’s and Ladies Sand Shot titles.
