The Bermuda Golf Association’s Amateur Match Play Championship qualifying round got underway at the Mid Ocean Club.
Usually the wind and rain wait until the final round to make an appearance for this Championship, however mother nature felt it was time for a change and greeted the players early this morning.
The defending Men's Champion, Jarryd Dillas, shot an impressive 1-under par 70 to put himself to the front of the pack ahead of nearest rivals Blake Marshall who shot a 6-over par 76 and Fraser Hunt shot a 8-over par 78. Four other players are tied at 80.
In the Ladies Division, Kathy Lloyd Hines has taken a small lead over past winner Katrin Burnie with Linda Down is sitting in 3rd place.
