Morris Wins BPGA Weekly Medal

The Bermuda Professional Golfers Association held their weekly Medal at Mid Ocean.

Ocean View Professional Brian Morris took full advantage of the absence of Daniel Augustus due to the flu to win this week’s Medal Round with a 5-over par 76.

Second place went to Turtle Hill Professional Paul Adams, playing in his first medal, Adams shot a 6-over par 77, while Mid Ocean Professional Chaka DeSilva and Tucker’s Point Professional Dwayne Pearman Jnr both finished at 9-over par 80.

The Bermuda Professional Golf Association held their weekly Medal at Ocean View.

Daniel Augustus continued his fine run of form shooting a 5-under par 65 to top the field, Brian Morris the Ocean View Head Professional used his local course knowledge to finish 2nd and 3 shots behind Augustus with a 2-under par 68.

Mid Ocean Professional Chaka DeSilva is enjoying his return to competitive golf finishing 3rd with a 2-over par 72, Dwayne Pearman and Darriek Douglas rounded out the top 5 with 73 and 76 respectively.

Bermuda Finish T50th in World Team Championship

Bermudian trio of Jarryd Dillas, Walker Campbell and Mikus Ming concluded competing in Maynooth, Ireland as the 2018 Men’s World Amateur Team Championship - Eisenhower Trophy (WATC) at Carton House Golf Club came to an end.

At the conclusion of their Fourth Round, Dillas had shot an 2-over Par 74, Campbell shot an Even Par 72 and Ming shot 2-over 74.

Bermuda finished T50th in the Team Standings after all the teams completed their Round.

Dillas’ round saw him card a 2 Birdies, 12 Pars and 4 Bogeys, while Walker shot 5 Birdies, 8 Pars and 5 Bogey’s and Ming had 2 Birdies, 12 Pars and 4 Bogey’s.

Dillas came into the Final Round T82nd but finished at T96th at 2-over par, Campbell started the day T134th and came off the course T121st at 7-over par and Ming started T176th and ended T171st at 20-over.

Bermudian trio of Jarryd Dillas, Walker Campbell and Mikus Ming continued competing in Maynooth, Ireland as the 2018 Men’s World Amateur Team Championship - Eisenhower Trophy (WATC) at Carton House Golf Club got underway.

At the conclusion of their Third Round, Dillas had shot an 2-under Par 71, Campbell shot a 1-under 72 and Ming shot 6-over 79.

Bermuda are now T48th in the Team Standings after all the teams completed their Round.

Dillas’ round saw him card a 5 Birdies, 10 Pars and 3 Bogeys, while Walker shot 5 Birdies, 9 Pars and 4 Bogey’s and Ming had 1 Birdie, 10 Pars and 7 Bogey’s.

Dillas came into the Third Round T97th but finished at T82nd at Even Par, Campbell started the day T153rd and came off the course T134th at 7-over par and Ming started T175th and ended T176th at 18-over.

After the Second Round Dillas fell from T46th to T97th at 2-over par, Campbell fell even further he started the day T46th and came off the course T153rd at 8-over par and Ming started T146th and ended T175th at 12-over.
