Events scheduled for the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street had been put on hold because of the extensive damage to the facility following Tropical Storm Fay and Hurricane Gonzalo.
But news comes now that the Harness Pony Racing Committee have met and decided that due to the fact that the Track has many lights out, broken or missing and are not able to be repaired until early in the New Year, that racing will have to be during the day for the rest of the season.
The race schedule for the balance of the season is as follows:
November 11th, 2014 - Cablevision Races @ 12:00pm November 16th, 2014 - (Possible race date) @ 12:00pm November 30th, 2014 - Regular Races @ 12:00pm December 7th, 2014 - Cablevision Races @ 12:00pm December 21st, 2014 - Regular Races @ 12:00pm December 26th, 2014 - Stakes Eliminations @ 12:00pm January 1st, 2015 - Stakes Finals @ 1:00pm January 11th, 2015 - Cablevision Races @ 12:00pm January 17th, 2015 - COC Eliminations @ 12:00pm January 18th, 2015 - COC Finals @ 12:00pm
