In Bornival it was not only the turn of the young horses to compete, but the national riders also got the chance to shine in the 1.35m class.
There it was Patrick Nisbett who was allowed to lead the lap of honor. Nisbett was joined on stage by Walter Lelie and Dominique Joassin both from Belgium.
Nisbett could count on Night Star VD to set the time to beat of 27.94 seconds. Lelie and Oliver Twist De Muze followed in second place with a time of 29.24 seconds. Joassin rode in the saddle of Barnabe de L'Ordenape Z to third place in 32.16 seconds.
Peter Schollaert (Derby Du Seigneur) finished in fourth place and referred Jonas Sadoun (Dedicace Du Maillet Z) to fifth place.
