Stempel Achieves Dressage Qualifying Scores

Having secured the requisite qualifying scores, Robin Stempel is nearing her goal to represent Bermuda at the 2021 North American Youth Championships scheduled to be held in Michigan, USA later this summer.

Stempel and her majestic dressage gelding, Rossano Royal 2 competed in the DRESSAGE IN THE SANDHILLS event held in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

As a third-level classified show, all Dressage Tests must be presided by two judges. Officiating Stempel’s Dressage Tests were “S” Level Judges Sue Kolstad and Donna Richardson.

Stempel and Rossano Royal 2 secured commendable qualifying scores in all three of their Dressage Tests!

This team earned a total score of 67.721 in the 2018 FEI Young Rider PSG Team Test and a total score of 66.029 in the 2018 FEI Young Riders Individual Test.

In the FEI Young Riders Freestyle Test, this team was awarded an impressive, combined score of 69.125%.

Stempel is currently training with Tami Batts of Friendship Farms. Batts has earned her USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals and is an “S” dressage judge.

When in Bermuda Stempel trains with Bermuda National Dressage Coach, Angela Halloran Smith.

The Bermuda Equestrian Federation extends hearty congratulations to Stempel on her commendable achievements and wishes her the very best as she continues to train and compete to further prepare for the 2021 North American Youth Championships.
