Bermuda Win CEA Regional Jumping Challenge

The 2019 Caribbean Equestrian Association’s Regional Jumping Challenge (CEA RJC) came to a successful conclusion for the Bermuda Show Jumping Riders.

For the fourth consecutive year, the BERMUDA TEAM has secured the top place against other participating Caribbean Countries.

In addition to winning the TEAM COUNTRY Division, Bermuda riders also captured the top placings in all three of the OVERALL INDIVIDUAL Regional Jumping Divisions.

Jaeda Smith riding Da Vinci secured first place in CEA RJC’s Overall Individual 1.00m Division, whilst Mackenzie James claimed a commendable overall second place.

Similarly, Tyler James riding Happy Feet was this year’s CEA RJC’s Overall Individual winner in the .85m Division.

The .75m Division saw Bermuda’s Kayla Bardgett riding Storm Watch, Courtney Sims riding Mr. Rainman and Indigo Adams riding Batteries Not Included claim 1st, 2nd & 3rd respectively in the CEA RJC’s Overall Individual .70m Division.

The CEA RJC provides an opportunity for competitors of all ages to measure their skills against riders within the Caribbean region. Riders compete in their own countries over two rounds of a predetermined jumping course. Competing Caribbean countries included Bahamas, Bermuda Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago.
