Bermuda show jumpers began competing in the 41st Edition of the FEI Jumping World Challenge, at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street.
Philip Correia and Emerson clocked a Double Clear Round in Category A which was the 1.20 – 1.30m & 1.30 – 1.40m Classes.
Category B consist of heights 1.10 – 1.20m & 1.20 – 1.20m Classes, with Courtney Bromby and Worth the Wait clocking a Double Clear Round time of 51.59, Kayla Bardgett and Causing Chaos was second with a Double Clear Round time of 53.81, Vicki Steele and All in One was third with a time of 61.20, but they had 4 Penalty Fault Points and Christian Truran and De Le Vega finished 4th with a 12 Penalty fault Point time of 49.66.
Cody Rego recorded a Double Clear Round time of 57.40 on the way to winning Category C which saw competitors compete at the 1.00 – 1.10m & 1.10 – 1.20m heights. Jaylynn Hones and Carolina Gold finished second with a 12 Penalty Fault Point time of 50.74, Christian Truran and Forza finished third with a 24 Penalty Fault Point time of 86.00.
