Marvin Brangman competed in The Biltmore Challenge in beautiful Asheville North Carolina where the weather was comfortable with an afternoon rain storm that gave the competitors and horses a good soaking and settled the dust.
Riding MM Godiva Chokalat, Brangman finished in 1st place out of 43 riders in the FEI 100 Mile Endurance Ride with a COC(Certificate of Capability) time, which is a requirement in order to compete in 4* World Events such as World Equestrian Games (WEG) that's scheduled for September 2018 in Tryon, North Carolina.
Brangman said, “It's been a challenging process these past two years to get qualified, but prayer patience and perseverance have been the recipe for our success.”
Brangman continued, “I'm extremely grateful for my wife Mary being by my side the entire time, many thanks also to Dinkelmann Arabians and the team of Lori Shifflett for their contributions made during my journey.”
Brangman concluded, “I look forward to representing Bermuda at WEG as I continue to ride to the Glory of GOD.”
