The Bermuda Equestrian Federation recently held its 2016/17 Awards Ceremony.
The BEF Championship winners, from over 30 different categories, were presented Championship Awards, which were determined from accumulated points acquired during the 2016/17 show season.
Junior BEF member, Casey Truran was awarded the DeCosta Construction Ltd. Trophy as the Junior Competitor Achieving the most points overall. Truran also secured the Raymond White Memorial Trophy, the Jenerations Debut Trophy, the Little Orvy Trophy as well as the BHPA Trophy for the Champion Junior Equitation in the 15-18 Year Group Division.
Securing the Inwood Trophy for the Adult competitor achieving the most overall points was Kirista Rabain. In addition to this award, Rabain was also awarded the BEF Award for the Adult Equitation Champion.
The 2016/17 Coach Award was presented to Michael Rodrigues and the Stable Award was presented to Inwood Stables. BEF President, Ian Truran, presented Jim Michelsen with the President’s Award in recognition to Michelsen’s valuable contribution and support.
