On Sunday January 18th at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street during the Final Day of Harness Pony Racing for the 2014/15 Season saw the Champions of Champions Crowned.
13 year old Cristian Roque became the Youngest ever winner of the Champions of Champions in the bike of Casmir Camotion with times of 1:06&1 and 1:04&4.
The Big upset of the two day event was Andrea Westerfield in the bike of GV Crystal Ball set back in first race for interference with Cherokee’s Ironman gave them no time so they placed last as it is an average of both heats that determines the winner.
Finishing second in the Champions of Champions Cameron Harris in the bike of Brona’s Mike finished second by 1/5 of a second, with times of 1:06&2 and 1:04&4.
