The Bermuda Harness Pony Racing season continued at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street. The day’s racing saw the inclusion of International Drivers from Indiana taking part.
Heat 1 the 1:07/2 - 1:08/2 Time Bar Class saw Bustin Drum with Arthur Hurst crossed the line first clocking a time of 1:10/2 Final Notice and Steven Cardoza finished second recording the same time of 1:10/2, Pastor Paul with David Lopes in the bike finished third clocking a time of 1:11/3.
Red Grand and Samantha Hayward recorded a time of 1:10/1 on their way to winning Heat 2 the 1:08/3 - 1:10/3 Time Bar Class. Inwood's Generation and Casey Truran who made a charge in the final lap finished second with a time of 1:10/1 and Just Like That with John Flood finished third with a time of 1:10/2.
Heat 3 saw the running of two classes, Tyler Lopes fresh off his Belgium experience jumping alongside Olympian Jillian Terceira, was in the bike of Nite Dreamer in the 1:05/0 – 1:06/0 Time Bar Class clocking 1:07 flat. In the 1:06/1 - 1:07/1 Time Bar Class visiting driver Kevin Lambright in the bike of GV Special Dream crossed the line first in a time of 1:07/2, Real Ladylike with Dylan DeSilva finished second with a time of 1:07/4 and LR's Last Chance and Jorde Smith finished third clocking 1:08/0.
With a time of 1:15/4 saw LA Erma Time and David Lopes finish first in Heat 4 which was the 1:13/0 & Slower Time Bar Class, Don’t Be Cruel and John Flood finished second with a time of 1:19/1 and Don’t Skipa Beat with Chad Sutherland in the bike finished third with a time of 1:22/1.
Heat 5 was the 1:10/4 - 1:12/4 Time Bar Class that Colonel's J with Arthur Hurst in the bike crossed the line first in a time of 1:10/2, Spirit of Bruna with Keith Woodley in the bike finished second clocking a time of 1:10/3 Colonel's Cyclone and Maurice Raynor finished third with a time of 1:14/3 and Shady Lady with Kirista Rabain in the bike finished fourth with a time of 1:16/4.
