McKeisha Smith's involvement in the upcoming 74th Agricultural Exhibition at the Botanical Gardens which gets underway on Thursday April 19th, will see her as a spectator.
During Saturday's show jumping practice inside the Main Ring saw Smith break her Right Hand.
The incident took place as Smith was going over the second jump, Smith said she felt her hand snap but she continued.
Smith said, "I stopped after the 2nd jump, knowing something was wrong, however I decided to continued and finished the round, following the round Smith walked over to the hospital where it was discovered that she had broken her hand.
Smith was due to ride Gold River owned by Ross and Azaria Smith as Smith's horse Starstuck remains out of commission. This horse was ridden by Raishun Burch at the Welcome Home Show in December.
