In Harness Pony Racing action at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street, several races managed to get underway before the rain came and damped the day.
In the 1:04/4 and Faster A Class, Jason Lopes in the bike of Captain Progress clocked a time of 1:06/2 to finish ahead of CJ Whited and Black and Mild who recorded a time of 1:07/2.
In the 1:09/4 – 1:11/4 A Class Cmeron Harris and Here Comes Shady finished first with a time of 1:08/2, while Final Time with Chicken Maybury finished second with a time of 1:09/4 and Tuxedo’s Lady with Zinho Cooper in the bike finished third with a time of 1:10/1.
