Terceira & Lopes Conclude Competing in The Netherlands
Jillian Terceira and Tyler Lopes concluded competing in the Valkenswaard International Horse Jumping event in The Netherlands.
Terceira and Escalada finished 17th competing in the CSI2* 1.40m Table A - Against the Clock Class.
The pair clocked a Clear Round time of 75.02.
Both Terceira and Lopes competed in the CSI1* Grand Prix 1.35 - 1.40m Table A - Against the Clock with Jump-Off Class.
Terceira and Iluna di Cantero finished 21st clocking a time of 71.70, but they had 4 Penalty Fault Points, while Lopes and Hamlet di Cantero finished 46th clocking a time of 105.56, to go along with the 20 Penalty Fault Points.

Bermuda to Compete In CEA Dressage Challenge
Once again Bermuda will have representation in the Caribbean Equestrian Association Dressage Challenge as Bermudaís Dressage enthusiasts gear up for this yearís event to be held on Saturday, 18th May at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street commencing at 9:00a.m.
This annual event enables riders from CEA membered countries to compete against each other, without the need to travel overseas. The format of the event, allows for a selected judge to travel from Island to Island scoring each competitorís test at an officially organized show.
Brenda Minor, a Canadian FEI 4* Judge, will officiate at this yearís competition. Apart from the Olympics and World Championships, a FEI 4* judge is qualified to judge at all international dressage competitions.
Riders competing in the CEA Dressage Challenge are ranked both Individually and by Country Team. In the 2018 Challenge, Bermudaís Children Team captured the top place whilst the Adult Team placed second to other competing Caribbean countries. Other Islands competing in the Challenge includes Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago and the Cayman Islands.
This year, Bermuda has 14 riders competing in tests ranging from Training to Prix St. George.

Terceira Wins Another Class in The Netherlands
Jillian Terceira and Tyler Lopes have begun competing in the Valkenswaard International Horse Jumping event in The Netherlands.
Terceira would get things started with a win in the CSI1* Big Tour 1.35m Table A - Against the Clock Class, Terceira and Iluna di Cantero clocked a Clear Round time of 57.95.
Lopes competed in the same Class riding Hamlet di Cantero and they finished 40th with a time of 70.65, but they had 4 Penalty Fault Points.
Terceira and Escalada competed in the CSI2* 1.35m in Two Phases Special with the 2nd Phase Against the Clock Class, they finished 55th with a time of 42.30, but they had 4 Penalty Fault Points.

Terceira's Win Leads Ladies Podium Charge
The Ladies were well represented at the Prize Giving Ceremonies during the first day of the CSI1*. Both the Big Tour and the Medium Tour were won by Lady Riders.
Bermuda Olympian Jillian Terceira won the Big Tour (Table A, 2 Phases) with a round that was over three seconds faster with the BWP mare Iluna di Cantero (Quadrillo x Contender).
Last week she also won a 1.35m class with the same horse. The rest of the podium were ladies too: the USAís Laura Kraut finished runner-up with Greatfull (WESTF) followed by Belgiumís Marian De Wachter with Darcotique vít Meulenhof (SBS, Marius Claudius I x Quidam de Revel).
Mary Kate Olsen (USA) won the Medium Tour with the mare Naomi (SWB, Camaro M x Napoleon). The actress who played a major part in the popular American TV series Fullhouse, defeated Britainís William Rekert with Hot Bluebird (KWPN, Plot Blue x Heartbreaker) with a fast round in 30.50 seconds. Rekertís compatriot Claire Beecroft finished in third place with Vanda Cartier (KWPN, Lord Z x Rubert R).
