Bermuda Women’s team was back in action on the Final Day of the CAZOVA (Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association) Under-23 Invitational Beach Volleyball Tournament going on, in Santa Cruz, Trinidad.
The Bermuda Women’s team of Amber Simons and Kaylee Trott, took on Tysan Selvon and Britney Choon from Trinidad, in a Semi-Final battle.
The Bermuda pair would fall in straight sets 21 – 14, 21 – 7, they would then battle in the Bronze Medal match.
Simons and Trott took on Maggie Boyd and Gabby Walker from the Cayman Islands, Simons and Trott would win the Bronze Medal in a three-set battle, Boyd and Walker won the first game 21 – 15, but Simons and Trott leveled the match at 1 – 1 when they won game two 21 – 14. In the third and final game, Simons and Trott claimed the victory winning 15 – 9.
