BNAA National Track & Field Championships 2021 Day 2

The Bermuda National Athletics Association hosted Day Two of the National Track & Field Championships at the National Sports Center.

Ellie Richmond won the Under 20 Girls Javelin Throw with a top toss of 34.78m, Amelia Othman won the Under 20 Girls High Jump leaping 1.50m.

Caitlyn Bobb won the Under 20 Women’s 400 Meter Dash stopping the clock in a Personal Best time of 53.64, Sanna Rae Morris was second in 1:00.91.

The Under 20 Women’s 100 Meter Dash was won by ZaKayza Parsons who clocked 12.67, Massassi Maxwell-Smith was second in 13.29 and Nohaa Powell was third in 13.30.

J'auza James won the Under 17 Boys High Jump with a leap of 1.73m, while the Under 17 Boys Shot Put title went to Razi Garland who recorded a top toss of 11.76m.

Nathan Armstrong won the Under 20 Boys 1500 Meter Run clocking 4:14.05, Nick Pilgrim was second in 4:28.10, and Iziah Tucker finished third with a time of 4:34.20.

Dage Minors won the Men 800 Meter Run Open with a time of 1:54.20, while the Under 20 Men’s 800 Meter Run was won by Nirobi Smith-Mills with a time of 1:54.80, Armstrong clocked 1:56.55 finishing second and Sancho Smith finished third stopping the clock in a time of 1:57.00.

During the Men’s Long Jump Open, Laquarn Nairn finished first with a top leap of 7.79m, Tyrone Smith was second leaping 7.63m, and Damar Forbes was third leaping 7.52m.

Jah-Nhai Perinchief won the Men’s Triple Jump Open with a top leap of 16.94m.
