With the announcement of the Carifta Games postponed until 2021, several questions have come to light. One of the most important questions is the one of Age Group participation. The Games are contested in two Age Group Categories, Under 17 and Under 20. The Executive Committee of the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association which make up NACAC are discussing the issue. The 2020 Carifta Games in Bermuda would have been the swansong for athletes in their final year of eligibility for the event, also some athletes would have competed and been favorites in the Under 17 Division events for their final time before moving up in Age Group. Once the NACAC Executive Committee have made a decision and held talks with all the countries involved in the games we will bring you the results as everyone begins looking forward to 2021.
