The Bermuda National Athletics association held their 4th Track Meet of the Season at the National Sports Center.
The Meet that once again included Bermuda’s Special Olympians saw two more athletes meet the Qualifying Standard for the 2019 Carifta Games.
In the First Event of the Day, Ryan Outerbridge running alone met the Standard for the Under 20 Boys 5000 Meter Run, with the standard set at 17:00.00, Outerbridge was clocked at 16:54.29.
In the Final Event of the day and the Final attempt, Ellie Richmond met the Standard during the Under 17 Girls Javelin Throw. The Standard was set at 36.00m and Richmond tossed her final attempt 36.54m.
Several other just missed the standard time, Ashley Irby clocked a Under 20 Girls 1500 Meter Run time of 5:00.65, with the standard set at 5:00.00, Destini Hill-Edwards was clocked at 12.95 during the Under 20 Girls 100 Meter Dash with the standard set at 12.00, Taylor Hines was second in 12.97.
