A trio of High Jumpers and a Middle Distance runner met the Carifta Games 2017 Qualifying Standard as the Bermuda National Athletics Association Third Tokio Millennium Re Youth Athletics Series Meet took place at the National Sports Center.
Sakari Famous on her way to winning the Under 18 Girls High Jump with a leap of 1.70m met the Standard with her first attempt.
Both Elisha Darrell and Kevin Miller met the Under 20 Boys High Jump Standard, with Darrell leaping to victory with a top leap of 2.05m, and Miller leaped 2.00m.
Ashley Irby qualified in the Under 18 Girls 1500m recording a winning time of 5.01.23.
In the Girls 800 Meter Dash Ashley Irby ran to victory with a time of 2:27.73, Koa Goodchild finished in second place with a time of 2:38.60 and Mikaela Outerbridge finished third stopping the clock in 2:44.17.
Ryan Outerbridge won the Boys 1500 Meter Dash recording a time of 4:46.26, with Iziah Tucker finishing second in 4:56.77.
