Jessica Lewis set a New Personal Best and a New Bermuda National Record time of 1:00.25 on her way to finishing 6th in Heat One of the T53 Women’s 400m as the 2016 Paralympic Games continues in Rio.
Lining up in Lane 7, Lewis got off the a great start but was not able to maintain the speed and was overtaken, she did fight it out with Ilana Dupont from Canada for the 6th place spot in the Heat, with Dupont clocking 1:00.03.
