BERMUDA’S KYRAH SCRADERS SETS A NEW CAC RECORD

Day Two of the XIX Central American and Caribbean Junior Championships got underway at the National Stadium Jorge "El Magico" Gonzalez in El Salvador and saw a Bermuda Athlete set a New CAC Record.

Kyrah Scraders set a New Central American and Caribbean Junior B Championships Record on her way to winning the Girls 1500m B Final clocking 4:53.65, Shuntae Hendrickson finished 6th clocking a time of 5:14.47.

Chas Smith finished 5th in the Boy’s B High Jump Final, Smith finished with a top leap of 1.90m.

Dage Minors finished 5th in the Boy’s 1500m B Final when he crossed the line in a time of 4:12.36, while Juma Mouchette finished 9th in the Boy’s 1500m A Final clocking a time of 4:07.70.

Taahirah Butterfield finished 5th in Heat 1 of the Girls 200m B Semi-Final recording a time of 25.77 just missing out on a Final spot, while Kidane Callender finished 6th in Heat 3 of the Boy’s 200m B Semi-Finals, he also missed out on advancing to the Finals when he was clocked at 23.31.

Kyle Webb has advanced to the Boy’s 200m B Finals after finishing 3rd in Heat 4 of the Boy’s 200m B Semi-Finals clocking a time of 21.38.
