Cedarbridge Students Compete in Delaware

The Cedarbridge Academy Functional Skills Class are participating currently at the Delaware Regional Special Olympics.

The Cedarbridge Academy 4x100m Relay team, won the Gold Medal, the team consist of Shakino Cann, Fabio Defrias, Justin Smith and Delton Woods.

Cann finished 1st in the 100m Preliminaries and will compete in the Finals which is set for tomorrow.

Kacy Darrell won the Gold Medal in the 25m Walk and picked up the Bronze Medal in the 60m Walking race.

Defrias picked up a Gold Medal in the 25m Dash and then won the Bronze Medal in the 50m Dash.

Kirk Dill finished 2nd winning a Silver Medal in the 200m Walking race, while Del-Che Landy won the Bronze Medal in the 200m Run.

Christopher Talbot won the Silver Medal in the 50m Walking race, Shaqune Whitehurst won the Gold Medal in the 50m Walking race.

Woods has advanced to the 100m Final, then came back to with the Gold Medal in the 200m race.
