Carifta Silver and Bronze Medalist Taylor Ashley Bean competed at the Norfolk State Relays for the Virginia State University Women’s Track and Field team.
Four Virginia State University athletes including Bean finished in the top six in the women’s 800 meter dash. Sierra Clayton won the event crossing the line at the 2:16.80 mark. Bean placed third clocking a time of 2:19.23, while Bianca Jacques placed fifth in a time of 2:22.33 and Jourdan Johnson followed placing sixth in 2:22.84.
