The Third and Final Day of the 41st Carifta Games got underway at the National Sports Center.
In Heat 1 of the Girls 200 Meter Dash Preliminaries Taahira Butterfield finished 5th clocking a time of 25.92, while Tyra Stovell finished 6th with a time of 26.06. Butterfield finished 9th overall, while Stovell finished 10th.
Jaret Simmons has advanced to the Under 17 Boys 200 Meter Dash Final after finishing second in Heat 1 with a time of 23.04. Simmons recorded the 6th fastest qualifying time, while Kidane Callendar finished 4th in Heat 2 with a time of 23.30 to finish 12th overall.
In the Under 20 Boys 200 Meter Dash Preliminaries, Scott Clarke finished 5th in Heat 1 with a time of 22.21, while Kyle Webb finished Heat 2 in third place with a time of 22.01, Webb finished 12verall and Clarke finished 17th overall.
Kerri Furbert finished 5th in the Under 20 Girls Long Jump with a top leap of 5.29m.
