Carifta Games Session 2 Day 2 Round Up

The Afternoon Session on Day Two of the 41st Carifta Games at the National Sports Center, saw Bermuda capture two more Medals.

During the Boy’s Under 17 Triple Jump sixteen year old Justin Donawa won Bermuda First Gold Medal of the games with a leap of 14.63m, meanwhile Shaquille Dill won Bermuda’s other medal on the day when he won the Silver Medal in the Under 20 Boy’s 800m when he finished in time of 1:55.91.

Aaron Perinchief finished 7th in the Under 20 Boys Long Jump leaping 6.73m, while Chas Smith finished 11th leaping 6.42m.

During the Under 20 Girls High Jump Khinda Pearman-Watson finished 7th with a top leap of 1.68m, while Jermiah Steede finished 7th in the Under 17 Boys 400 Meter Hurdles clocking a time of 1:34.00.

Jordan Bascome finished 2nd in Event Five of the Girls 800 Meter Run OPEN Outdoor Pentathlon clocking a time of 2:32.20, with Aaliyah Nolan finished 6th with a time of 2:41.48.

In the Under 17 Girls 800 Meter Run Kyrah Scraders finished fourth with a time of 2:21.43, while Quinnae Outerbridge finished 6th clocking 2:25.36.

Ethan Philip with a leap of 12.60m finished 9th in the Under 17 Boys Triple Jump, while during the Under 17 Boys 800 Meter Run Michaiah Robinson finished 6th with a time of 2:07.10, with Jahmari Sutton finishing 9th clocking 2:12.29.

In the Under 20 Girls 800 Meter Run Rachel Fox finished 7th with a time of 2:23.26, while Tiara Derosa finished 7th in the Under 17 Girls Discus Throw.

Daniel Oatley finished the Under 17 Boys 3000 Meter Run in sixth place clocking a time of 10:02.49, however Nico Barclay did not finish the race.
