BSSF Middle and Senior School Sports

TN Tatem convincingly won the Bermuda School Sports Federation’s Middle School Track and Field Championship at the National Sports Center.

TN Tatem scored 562.5 points, while Sandys Secondary Middle School finished second with 485 points.

Syriah lottimore won the Under 12 Girls Division, the Whitney student won the 100, 200 and 400 meter races.

Jahkeylo Burgess of TN Tatem won the Boys Under 12 Division winning the 400, 800 and 1500 meter races.

The Under 13 Champion Girl was Jahkeera Tucker from TN Tatem. Tucker walked away with the 100,200 and was second in the 400 meter races.

Maurice Jones also of TN Tatem won the Boys Under 13 Division, Jones won the 100 meters and Long Jump and was second in the 200 meters.

Clearwater students won the Over 13 Divisions, Azaire Smith won the Girls Division with firsts in 200 and 400 meter races as well as the High Jump, her schoolmate Michaiah Robinson won the Boys 400, 800 and 1500 meter races.

Meanwhile the Berkeley Institute won the Bermuda School Sports Federations Senior School Track and Field Meet at the National Sports Center.

Berkeley Institute recorded a total of 462.5 points, with CederBridge Academy finishing second with 435.5 points.

Faheema Scraders of Berkeley was unstoppable in winning the Under 15 Girls Division running away to win the 400, 800 and 1500 meter races.

Jahmari Sutton of Cedarbridge won the Under 15 Boys Shot Putt and 800 meter race to come away with the title.

Rachel Fox of MSA won the Over 15 Girls 400 and 800 meter races to lift the Division title.

Kyle Godfrey of Cedarbridge won the Over 15 Boys 400 meter race and Long Jump, while Berkeley’s Juma Mouchette and Kyle Webb won the 800 and 1500 meter races and the 100 and 200 meter races respectively.
