The Bermuda Under 19 Men’s National Basketball team won their final game of the Heart Lake Winter Classic Basketball Tournament in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
Bermuda defeated Heart Lake Junior Varsity 56 – 18.
The Bermuda team did a much better job in defensive rebounds, the necessary adjustments were made to take advantage of their strengths.
The difference in score from the teams’ first meeting was due to lineup changes and adjustments with the offense and minor changes in the defense.
Jorel Smith once again led the Bermuda team in scoring with 15 points, Adam McDonald added 13 points and De-Nyi Thomas scored 9 points.
Smith was chosen as the Bermuda team MVP by coaching staff.
