Following the controversy of having four players denied the opportunity to play in their second game Bermuda took to the court for game three of the FIBA AmeriCup 2021 Caribbean Pre- Qualifiers in Paramaribo, Suriname.
Bermuda was once again forced to play with just six players dressed.
Bermuda took on and defeated Montserrat 72 – 56, Bermuda led at the end of the first period 18 – 13, both teams would then score 18 points each in the second period for Bermuda to take a 36 – 31 lead to the break.
The third period would see Bermuda outscore Montserrat 17 – 7 to take a 53 – 38 lead with one period to play and in the final period Bermuda would outscore their opponents 19 – 18.
Chris Crumpler would lead the Bermuda team to victory with 27 points, Jason Lowe assisted with 22 points, while Te’Jour Riley would add 16 points.
