In what was probably the best game of the year in the Island Basketball League, the Flyboys who were down by as much as 20 came back to win in overtime 67 - 62 over the Rimrockers. Dionne Easton who hit a last second 3 pointer to send the game into overtime was top scorer for Flyboys with 19 points, while the Rimrockers were led by Dominick Smith with 18 points.
In game 2 the Hoopstars move 5-5 on the season after defeating the still winless Skyforce 42- 35, Mike Smith scored 10 points for the Hoopstars, while the Skyforce got 9 points from Anton Jackson.
