On the day that her season came to an end in the Playoffs, Bermuda’s Jenaya Wade-Fray representing Brixton Topcats was named to the Women’s British Basketball League All Star Five for Week 20 which was the final week for regular season play.
It was a memorable final day of the regular season for Wade-Fray and her South Londoners Teammates as they clinched they win they needed to make it into the Quarter-Finals. Wade-Fray was at the heart of their vital win against Manchester Mystics as she poured in a superb 30 points, including five triples to go with four boards, two steals and an assist.
Wade-Fray ends the season as the League’s 8th to Point Per Game Player in the Standings with 15.3 points Per Game.
Wade-Fray played a total of 17 games in the season at an average of 29.6 minutes per game. Wade-Fray went 48 for 93 from the Field at 51.6%, she hit 40 from 143 shots from behind the Three Point Line at 28%, Wade-Fray was at 84.6% from the Free Throw Line hitting 44 of 52 shots.
Wade-Fray had a 4.1 Rebound season Average, 2.1 Assist per game, 1.4 Steals per game and she had 0.1 Steals per game on the Season.
