Jenaya Wade-Fray has made the Women’s British Basketball Leagues January Statstars for 2016.
Each month the Women’s British Basketball League highlight the leaders for the month in several different categories, with Wade-Fray helping her team the Brixton Topcats to a record of 2 & 6 getting in on two of the categories.
On The Line - Amber Stokes from the Nottingham Wildcats is known for her high velocity approach, but she also has poise from a static position - as proven by a fabulously flawless 14 of 14 from the line during the month. She was the only player to pass 90% with Wade-Fray of the Brixton Topcats and Helen Naylor who suits up for the Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters taking the other two podium places with 87.5% and 81.3% respectively.
Handing It Out - Stokes also crashes to the top of our assists chart this month after handing out 4.3 per game for her team. There is also a new face in second spot, with Wade-Fray dishing up four assists per game. Nicolette Fong Lyew Quee from Team Northumbria and Naylor were locked in third place with 3.3 assists per game.
