A big night in Cellone Island Basketball League action at the Cedarbridge Academy Gymnasium saw 172 points scored in a Double Header and the previously undefeated team in the League was defeated.
The Opening Game of the night was considered the Game of the Week, as the previous unbeaten Twisters went down to the Flyboys 44 – 32. Despite the defeat the Twisters still have the #1 spot with a 10-1 record and the #2 seed Flyboys are now 9-2.
Kieron Burgess led the way with 16 points for the Flyboys and for the first time losers for the season Twisters saw Kevin Stephens score 12 points.
The second game of the evening saw the Court Kings take on the 1-9 Hoopstars and beat them 55-4 moving their record of 6-5 and holding down the # 4 spot.
Jericho Tucker scored 15 points for the Court Kings, whole the Hoopstars were led by the youngster Yontz Sutton with 13 points.
