Eleven of Bermuda’s Elite Basketball players visited Devon Preparatory School in Pennsylvania to play against the Varsity Boys’ Basketball team.
The Wolfpack Elite Player Development programme is currently taking part in a three week tour across the United States which sees them traveling across Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. to take part in top US camps (Five Star Basketball and Point Guard College) and to play games versus other elite basketball programmes (Devon Prep, Philly Triple Threat, Maryland Mavs, Fredericksburg Heat, and others).
In its game against Devon Prep, the Wolfpack took command early in the game with sharpshooters Rye Ahronson and Mykal Glasgow leading the way. Ahronson led the team in scoring with 30 points on a myriad of drives to the basket and a handful of jump shots from behind the three point line. Glasgow poured in an outstanding 26 points mostly coming off of driving layups and mid-range jump shots. Other notable performances were made by Andy Perez, Kobie Reid, Caelin Peters, Niall Waring, and Colby Mapp on their way to victory.
A spokesperson for Wolfpack Elite provided the following, “Devon Prep was gracious to provide us with an opportunity to play against their varsity team. The games were competitive and both teams saw some success. We are both using this pre-season opportunity to get our players ready for the upcoming school year. We would like to thank the Devon Prep players and coaches for their support.”
