More Bermuda Players Steal the Show in Camps

Four of Bermuda's finest youth basketball players - Mykal Glasgow, Rye Ahronson, Andy Perez, and Jeremiah Andrade played in front of 350 online viewers including coaches and scouts from around the world.

The events at Keystone State Camps in Pennsylvania have been a successful campaign for Bermuda. Leading up to the game, which was live streamed by PASPORTSLIVE.COM, Glasgow had already made a mark winning the free throw competition for the Senior Division.

According to the broadcasters at PASPORTSLIVE, over 70 people from Bermuda watched the steam, many to support Bermuda's Youth National Teams.

The game started with Perez of Cedarbridge Academy and Glasgow from the Berkeley Institute coming out shooting. Andy Perez Nunez, as the commentators called him stole the ball just minutes into the contest and shortly after drove to the basket finishing a layup in traffic. On another drive he was fouled going to the free throw line. Perez finished the contest with 8 points and played staggering defense the whole contest.

Glasgow, a 6'3" combo guard and co-captain of the 18 and under team, played multiple positions in the match showing of his versatility. Glasgow scored on two three pointers from distance and also grabbed 11 rebounds.

Andrade of Warwick Academy, the other co-captain of the team played a solid game, throwing assists to his teammates and also scoring on a three pointer. The commentators were high on the shooting and defense from Bermuda's players.

The player of the game however went to Ahronson, the 14 year old from Warwick Academy who recently made history as the youngest player to make the Senior Men's National Team. Ahronson, a speedy guard scored 13 in the contest and was interviewed after the by PASPORTSLIVE.

Their team was led by Coach McCants, an alumni basketball player and Hall of Famer of Ohio State University. Coach McCants has been very high on Bermuda's players stating that several of them could pursue college careers in the United States.

Kyari Flood, one if the Bermuda team's newest members also played in the game on the losing side of the contest. Flood has surprised the coaches with his defense and his competitive spirit.
