Fourteen year old Rye Ahronson will become the youngest player to represent Bermuda at the Men’s Level in Basketball when he puts on the Bermuda Shirt in Jersey at the Island Games.
Bermuda are the three times defending Champions and the youngster feels he is up to the challenge.
Ahronson has spent the last few months training everyday looking forward to getting the call up at the senior level, he has represented Bermuda at both the Under 12 and Under 14 Age Group Level’s.
Ahronson has worked with the likes of Charles Peters of Wolfpack Baskeball, as well as Chris Crumpler, Gavin MacKenzie and Tim Trott.
The Bermuda team has had a hand with corporate sponsorship helping with kit, in particular International Financial Planning.
