The Finals are set for the Cellone Island Basketball League following Semi-Final action inside the Cedarbridge Academy Gymnasium.
The opening game needed overtime in the Men’s Division, that saw the Thunder Cats defeat the Twisters 84 – 82. Jason Lowe led the Thunder Cats to victory with a game high 29 points, while the Twisters were led by Sarbor Bey who scored 19 point.
The Court Queens will meet the Lady Hawks in the Ladies Final after they defeated the Pink Panthers 24 – 13. Amorli Smith scored 6 points for the Lady Hawks, while Mary Ellen Jackson led the Pink Panthers with 5 points.
The second team to make it to the Men's Final was the Crossfire Ballers after they defeated the Rimrockers 63 – 53, regular season MVP Dean Jones scored 32 points for the Crossfire Ballers, while the Rimrockers were led by Ronnie Bushner with 19 points.
