The Bermuda Basketball Association, is now focused on competing at the 2015 Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) Men’s Championships in Tortola.
Training has begun with players taking to the Cedarbridge Academy Gymnasium Floor on Tuesdays and Thursday.
However, they will have the perfect opportunity to see how well their best outfit will stack up against another regional counterpart as they head to Guyana in March to play a three-game series at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall against the Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF).
President of the Association, Greg Todd, stated recently that “Bermuda will be seeking to use the games to showcase local Basketball talent and to prepare for the 2015 Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) Championships scheduled to be held in July in the British Virgin Islands.”
The last time Guyana played Bermuda was at the 2011 CBC Championships in Bahamas, Bermuda emerged victorious 68 - 58.
