The CellOne Island Basketball League continued inside the Cedarbridge Academy Gymnasium with a Women’s and Men's Double-Header.
Fly Girls defeated the Pink Panthers 18 – 16, Inshanae Smith led the Fly Girls to victory with 8 points, while Shanay Scott scored a game high 10 points for the Pink Panthers.
In the other Girls game the Lady Hawks defeated the Court Queens 23 – 10. Zu Rubaine scored 5 points for the Lady Hawks, while Simona Pitcher scored 5 points for the Court Queens.
In the first Men’s game the Fly Boy’s United defeated the Court Kings 58 – 54, Juren Hayley scored a game high 29 points for the Fly Boy’s United, while Brad Meindersma scored 18 points for the winless Court Kings.
The Thunder Cats recorded a 45 – 34 win over the Rim Rockers, Chris Crumpler led the Thunder Cats with 17 points, while Lawrence Fox scored 11 points for the Rim Rockers.
